Mediaprint, founded in 1988, Mediaprint is the subsidiary company of 
both the  "Kurier" and the "Neue  Kronen Zeitung", with the publishing 
houses of these papers ("Krone KG" and "Kurier Zeitungsverlag und 
Druckerei Ges. m. b. H.") each holding 50 % of the 
shares. Mediaprint is responsible for the printing and sale of both 
papers and for acquiring advertisers. Yet another publishing house, 
the  "WAZ" holds a decisive interest in both the "Krone KG" ( 
50 % of shares) and the "Kurier Ges. m. b. H." 
(49.4 % of shares).
