!!!Meister von Heiligenkreuz

Meister von Heiligenkreuz, painter and miniaturist (?); worked 
1395-1420, probably came from France. He is named after a diptych 
originally from the monastery at Heiligenkreuz (after 1400, now in the 
Museum of Art History, Vienna). His style of painting is reminiscent 
of the Parisian school and the works of book illustrators. Other 
panels by him are kept in Washington, Munich and Basle.
