952 m, pop. 1,163, area 16.54 km%%sup 2/%, bi-seasonal 
tourist resort (114,000 overnight stays) in the Stubai Valley. - 
Originally late Gothic parish church, 1737-1739 Baroque alteration of 
the interior, crucifix (around 1500), frescoes by J. Jenewein (1739); 
cemetery with cruciform church and Baroque chapel; on the table hill, 
Calvary and small church (rebuilt 1843); former court building 
(1825/26); Haufenhof farmhouse with rich façade paintings 
(1727); houses with Baroque frescoes; late Baroque aristocratic 
residence.
