Militia System, introduced in Austria on the model of the Swiss 
Militia system in 1979: Soldiers are called up for regular field 
exercises after having completed their basic military service in order 
to fight in the Austrian Army in case of mobilization. Some units have 
a very high percentage of militiamen in addition to professional 
soldiers and non-commissioned officers.
