!!!Mitterndorfer Senke

Mitterndorfer Senke Depression, a sand and rubble trough in the Wiener 
Becken (Vienna Basin) sunk up to 150 m deep in a very young (from 
the Ice Age) fracture system, which runs from the Neunkirchen area in 
southeasterly direction across Wiener Neustadt, Ebreichsdorf, 
Mitterndorf towards Fischamend; one of Austria´s most important 
ground-water reservoirs.
