!!!Mohács

Mohács, town in Hungary, scene of two important battles: On 
August 29, 1526 King of Hungary Ludwig II, was defeated and 
killed in a battle against Sultan Sueleyman II, as a result the 
crowns of Hungary and Bohemia fell to the Habsburgs. On August 12, 
1687  Karl V of Lothringen gained victory over the Ottomans ( Turkish 
Wars).
