Moik, Karl, b. Linz (Upper Austria), June 19, 1938, 
moderator, showmaster. First worked as a salesman for electrical 
appliances and as a one-man entertainer; 1970-1980 moderator of the 
folk music programme "Volkstuemliche Hitparade" on Radio 
Oberoesterreich (Upper Austrian Radio); since 1981 moderator of the 
television programme "Musikantenstadl". Awarded the cabaret 
prize "Salzburger Stier" in 2000.
