pieces and dramas. 1912-1931 director of the Styrian music association 
(from 1920 conservatory). 1932-1935 and from 1944 lecturer at the 
University of Graz, 1935-1944 in Munich and Mannheim; teacher of M.  
Schoenherr. As a composer, a close associate of M. Reger.
