!!!Molassezone

Molasse Zone (molasse-belt), geological name for the sea trough in the 
northern foot of the Alps, where the erosional debris of the Alps was 
deposited in the Neocene; in Austria the molasse zone includes the 
northern part of the  Bregenzerwald Mountain Region in the province of 
Vorarlberg, where the molasse zone is completely covered by the alpine 
complex, the  Alpine Foreland and the north-western part of the 
Weinviertel region.
