Molln, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Kirchdorf an der 
Krems, alt. 442 m, pop. 3,753, area 191.39 km%%sup 2/%, 
industrial and commercial centre in the central Steyrtal valley. - 
Military training area, Steyrdurchbruch power station (1908: 
3.8 MW), research centre of the Limestone Alps National Park 
Society; forestry enterprise of the Oesterreichische Bundesforste AG 
(Austrian Federal Forests), factory producing skiing and hiking boots, 
anodising plant, cast concrete factory and commercial stone-crushing 
plant, wood manufacturing industry (mainly furniture), main production 
site of  Jew's Harp/s in Austria. - Late Gothic parish church 
(15%%sup th/% /16%%sup th/%  centuries) with late Gothic west gallery, 
side aisle (1929), Rococo high altar (1769) with painting by L. 
Kupelwieser (1829); parsonage built by J. G. Hayberger, 1734.
