b. Kleinarl (Salzburg), March 27, 1953, skier. 1972 world champion in 
combination, 1974 and 1978 world champion in downhill, 1980 gold medal 
winner in downhill at the Olympic Games in Lake Placid. Altogether 63 
wins in World Cup races and 6 World Cup championships. In 1980 she 
ended her career and opened a restaurant in Kleinarl.
