Murstetten, Lower Austria, village in the district of St. Poelten, 
alt. 278 m, at the foot of Frauenberg mountain (378 m) 
northwest of Neulengbach; cadastral district of the municipality of 
Weissenkirchen an der Perschling. - Early Baroque parish church (1616) 
with Romanesque apse, high altar (1725), epitaphs of the Althann 
family. Ruins of former "Goldburg" castle (1580, enlarged 1706, 
dismantled 1809).
