Muthspiel, Christian, b. Judenburg (Styria), Sept. 20, 1962, 
musician, composer; brother of Wolfgang  Muthspiel. Studied classical 
music and jazz at the Musikhochschule (now University of Music and 
Dramatic Arts) in Graz; 1987/1988 studied in Canada (piano, trombone 
and composition). Member of the Vienna Art Orchestra; concerts with 
numerous ensembles worldwide. 1990 established the ensemble Octet Ost; 
1991 made his debut as a classical soloist.

vibraphone, percussion); Borges and I, 1993 (dance theatre); Our

Waren, 1997 (soprano, large ensemble).
