Nagl, Max, b. Gmunden (Upper Austria), Oct. 5, 1960, 
composer, musician (saxophonist). Studied at the Hochschule fuer Musik 
(now University of Music and Performing Arts) in Vienna; co-founder of 
the groups Manhattan Love Suicide and Go 4 It, member of the ensemble 
Maxixe and founder of the M. N. Quintet. Gravitates between jazz, 
noise music and folk music. Hans Koller Prize 1999.
