!!!Nehr, Alexander

Nehr, Alexander, b. Baja (now Pec, Hungary), Jan. 30, 1855, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 29, 1928 wrought-iron craftsman Kunstschlosser, made 
the   Rathausmann statue crowning the spire of Vienna Townhall. 
Awarded a gold medal for the giant gate to the Austro-Hungarian 
pavilion at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900.
