b. Vienna, June 7, 1935, businessman. Trained in the photo business, 
worked for a large photo group in the USA and studied economics. 1958 
returned to Austria, opened a business in Traiskirchen, 1977 founded 
the biggest Austrian purchasing association in the photo business and 
opened more than 2 dozen shops in Austria. 1975 chairman of the trade 
section of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, since 1992 president of the 
Vienna Chamber of Commerce, now Vienna Economic Chamber. President of 
a sub-organisation of the Federal Economic Chamber ("Fonds der Wiener 
Kaufmannschaft"), since 1987 member of the Vienna Landtag and 
municipal council.
