Neubrand, Heinz, b. Vienna, July 5, 1921, 
d. Vienna, Jan. 6, 1998, pianist and composer. Studied under E. v. 
Sauer, from 1939 he played light music, from 1946 jazz; 1946-1955 with 
the radio station Rot-Weiss-Rot; first production of a musical at the 
Vienna Volksoper (with M.  Prawy), 1956-1963 composed film music, from 
1957 also composed for television. Numerous prizes.
