Neudoerfl, Burgenland, market town in the district of Mattersburg, 
alt. 273m, pop. 3,324, area 9.01 km%%sup 2/%, industrial market 
town at the Lower Austrian border east of Wiener Neustadt at the foot 
of the Rosaliengebirge mountains. - Caritas charity organisation, 
printing works, office furniture manufacturing, chipboard and plastics 
production, aluminium and wood-processing, construction company. - 
Parish church (1669, enlarged after 1683, extended in 1783, 1952 newly 
decorated after removing the Baroque interior). The first Austrian 
Social-Democratic Party was founded in a former inn (Hauptstrasse 154) 
in 1874. Former castellet of the Esterházy family (1650).
