Neudau, Styria, market town in the district of Hartberg, market town, 
alt. 289 m, pop. 1,166, area 10.14 km%%sup 2/%, situated at 
the River Lafnitz and at the border to the province of Burgenland. - 
Power station, staple and synthetic fibre spinning mill. 
Gothic-Baroque parish church, interior altered in 1968; castle (first 
documented mention 1371, alterations 16th - 19th century), small 
theatre in the park; spinning mill classified and protected as 
historical monument with towers from the age of Promoterism (founded 
in 1845). Typical three- and four-sided Styrian farmhouses.
