Neue Zeitung, Die, Viennese Social Democratic tabloid published daily 
from October 3, 1967 until July 10, 1971 (from December 1970 published 
only weekly). Another Viennese daily with Catholic orientation was 
published under the same name from January 1, 1907 until January 13, 
1934, when it had to close down because of its ideological proximity 
to National Socialism.
