Neugebauer, Wolfgang, b. Vienna, Oct. 9, 1944, historian. 
Studied in Vienna; from 1970 employed by the Documentation Centre of 
Austrian Resistance, since 1983 head of this institution. Main area of 
research: resistance, persecution, exile in the years 1933-1945. Since 
1995 professor of contemporary history at the University of Vienna.
