d. Vienna, March 31, 1999, lung specialist. From 1979 at the 
Centre for Pulmonary Diseases of the city of Vienna, from 1983 head of 
department at the Centre for Pulmonary Diseases and of Grimmenstein 
Hospital (Lower Austria), From 1986-1999 at the Centre for Pulmonary 
Diseases as head of department. From 1985-1999 president of the Vienna 
Medical Association and vice-president of the Austrian Medical 
Association, from 1986-1999 president of the Austrian Medical 
Association and vice-president of the Federal Conference of the 
Chambers of independent professions in Austria.
