of Grieskirchen, alt. 388m, pop. 1,508, area 2.11 km%%sup 2/%, 
railway junction at the River Duerre Aschach. Cheese dairy, brewery, 
leather manufacturing plant, chemical industry, many small businesses. 
Parish church built between 1892 and 1893; Calvary chapel (1737) with 
crucifixion group from the first half of the 18th century.
