Neumarkt im Muehlkreis, Upper Austria, market town in the district of 
Freistadt, alt. 632m, pop. 2,743, area 46.70 km%%sup 2/%, between 
the Rivers Gusen and Kleine Feldaist, to the southeast of Freistadt. 
Jugendhaus Lamm youth centre; wood processing. - Gothic parish church 
with remains of Romanesque stonework, net ribbed vault (around 1500), 
Baroque alterations in 1731.
