Neumayer, Rudolf, b. Vienna, May 18, 1887, d. Vienna, Aug. 
25, 1977, financial expert and politician. From 1924 head of the 
finance department of the city of Vienna, 1936-1938 Minister of 
Finance in the Schuschnigg and Seyss-Inquart governments, 1938 
director of the Wiener Staedtische Versicherung insurance company, 
1943 head of the headquarters of business trustees. 1946 found guilty 
of being a member of the National Socialist government and imprisoned 
until 1949.
