Neumayer, Anton, b. Hallein (Salzburg), Dec. 6, 1920, physician. 
1975-1991 head of the 1st department of internal medicine at 
Rudolfstiftung Hospital in Vienna, 1963-1991 professor at Vienna 
University. Worked mainly in the field of gastroenterology; 1986-2000 
head of the L.-Boltzmann research centre for clinical geriatrics. 
Pianist. Studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, chamber musician and 
music historian (has researched the case histories of famous 
musicians). 1987-1994 presenter of the television series "Diagnose".
