!!!Neunkirchner Allee

Neunkirchner Allee Road, straight-lined road in the southern Steinfeld 
area between Wiener Neustadt and Neunkirchen. It was this even surface 
that P. J. Liessgang began the first basic survey of Austria in the 
years 1762-1770. In the south of Wiener Neustadt (in front of the 
former Neukirchner Tor gate) a Baroque stone column with an 
inscription topped by a globe commemorates this survey.
