Neuwirth, Arnulf, b. Gablitz (Lower Austria), Jan. 4, 1912, 
painter, graphic artist and art critic. 1953-1972 teacher at the 
school of fashion design of the city of Vienna, 1950-1973 president of 
the Vienna artists´ association "Der Kreis". Was strongly 
influenced by French surrealism, also works as a writer.
