!!!Niederdonau

Niederdonau (Lower Danube), name for Lower Austria used first by the 
National Socialists in 1938, later also introduced by the Nazi 
administration at Austria's suggestion. The northern Burgenland 
(districts of Neusiedl, Eisenstadt, Mattersburg and Oberpullendorf) 
and the districts of southern Moravia (from 1939, then called 
Nikolsburg, Znaim and Neubistritz) also belonged to the gau of 
Niederdonau.
