Gründete mit F. Vogel 1872 das auf landwirtschaftliche Geräte und Maschinen spezialisierte Eisen- und Stahlwerk "Vogel & Noot" ([Vogel & Noot Holding AG|AEIOU/Vogel_&_Noot_Holding_AG]) in Wartberg. 1909-18 Mitglied des Herrenhauses.
