Oberalm Strata, rock formation of the Upper Jurassic of the Northern 
Limestone Alps named after  Oberalm, found especially in the province 
of Salzburg, where the thinly stratified, flat limestone is put to use 
as natural building stone (flag stones for gardens, wall 
construction).
