(municipality of Ernstbrunn). First settlements date back to the
Neolithic period, Celtic hilltop settlement (oppidum) of the La
Tène Culture, minting of coins; Roman-style building
2%%sup nd/% century A.D. (domicile of a Germanic prince?);
burial ground of christianised Slavic settlers (10%%sup th/%
/11%%sup th/% centuries).
