Olperer Peak, province of Tirol, alt. 3,476 m, the highest, 
heavily glaciated peak of the Tux Alps, between Zams Valley and Tux 
Valley. First ascent in 1867 by P. Grohmann, G. Samser and J. Huber. 
Glacier on the north side (Tux Glacier) with glacier ski resort. 
Mountain refuges: Olpererhuette (alt. 2,388 m), Tuxer-Ferner-Haus 
(alt. 2,605 m).
