d. Vienna, Nov. 28, 1977, journalist. 1924-1934 editor, 1934-1938 
editor-in-chief of the "Wiener Tag". 1938/39 in Buchenwald 
concentration camp. From May 1945 staff member of Radio Vienna, 
1946-1950 editor-in-chief of  Austria Presse Agentur, 1950-1954 
manager at Radio Rot-Weiss-Rot, 1959-1966 head of the press service of 
the Federal President's office.
