Oswald, Peter, b. Hohenems (Vorarlberg), Oct. 9, 1953, 
cultural manager. Studied musicology, theatre studies and art history 
in Vienna; 1987-1988 music consultant of the Wiener Festwochen (Vienna 
Festival); 1989-1991 head of the music department of the ORF (Austrian 
broadcasting corporation) provincial studio in Styria as well as of 
"Musikprotokoll", the contemporary music division of the 
annual Styrian new art festival "steirischer herbst". 
1991-1992 department head at ORF; 1993-1999 intendant of the ensemble 
Klangforum Wien; since 2000 intendant of  steirischer herbst.
