Ottnang am Hausruck, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of 
Voecklabruck, alt. 554 m, pop. 3,743, area 
30.35 km%%sup 2/%, at the southeast border of Hausruck mountain. 
Wood processing (joineries, staircase construction, furniture), 
metal-working, earlier brown-coal mining at Thomasroith (1840-1966). - 
Franciscan monastery in Bruckmuehl. Parish church redecorated in 
Baroque style, late-Gothic core (chancel, portal, 3 glass paintings of 
1494), rebuilt and enlarged in 1706 by C. A. Carlone; high altar 
from the end of the 17%%sup th/%  century.
