Parz, Upper Austria, castle in the district of Grieskirchen; 
documented mention in 1379, consisting of a moated castle, which was 
reconstructed in the 19%%sup th/%  century and a three-storey 
building with arcades, consisting of a main wing and two side wings, 
added between 1515-1600, large portal and wooden ceilings (1600), the 
south faade decorated with Renaissance frescoes (600 m%%sup 2/%, 
the largest fresco north of the Alps). Now houses an Arts Centre.
