situated west of Linz. - Cultural and sports centre, flourishing 
economy, 3,487 employees (as of 1991), wholesale and retail trade are 
dominant. Transport, trade and industry, dairy products, production of 
precision lathe work, mechanical engineering, plastic processing, many 
medium and small size businesses. - Parish church (around 1500), glass 
paintings dating back to the Middle Ages.
