Paulus, Wolfram, b. Grossarl (province of Salzburg), 
Aug. 12, 1957, director. 1977-1982 studied at the Hochschule fuer 
Film und Fernsehen in Munich. His first cinema film 
"Heidenloecher" (about a Wehrmacht deserter in the Second 
World War) was Austria´s entry in the Berlinale film festival in 
1986; in 1994 his film "Du bringst mich noch um" was shown 
in the Special Events series at the Venice Film Festival. Since then 
he has mainly made films for television.
