d. Vienna, May 11, 1866, painter. Student of J. B. Drechsler and 
S. Wegmayr at the Vienna Academy; from 1832 taught at the Vienna 
Academy, painter of flowers, fruit and still life, popular with the 
Viennese aristocracy and middle classes.
