b. Guntramsdorf near Vienna, around 1390, 
d. Vienna, March 20, 1439, theologian. Education in Vienna, from 1436 
in the collegiate chapter of St. Stephen´s (later a chapter 
of the cathedral). Many works written in the vernacular show the 
importance he attached to pastoral care and communicating theological 
teachings to a large audience.
