d. Weiz, Aug. 18, 1919, electrical engineer, industrialist. 1892 
started with the production of electrical machines and in 1897 founded 
the firm "Weizer Elektrizitaetswerk F. P. & Co.", since 1922 
known under the name  ELIN.
