Pillinger, Renate, b. Vienna, Jan. 25, 1951, archaeologist. 
Studied in Vienna; since 1999 university professor; founder and head 
of the Archaeology of the Early Christian Era division of the 
Department of Classic Archaeology at the University of Vienna. Founder 
and editor of the publication "Mitteilungen zur christlichen 
Archaeologie".
