Pitten, River, Lower Austria, one of the two headstreams of the River 
Leitha; rises in the Wechsel Region, is called Grosser Pestingbach 
until it is joined by the Feistritz river, flows through the Bucklige 
Welt, joins the Schwarza river at Lanzenkirchen (alt. 302 m) and 
is then called Leitha; average rate of flow near Erlach
