!!!Piza-Katzer, Hildegunde

Piza-Katzer, Hildegunde, b. Groebming (Styria), April 2, 1941, 
surgeon. 1970-1992 worked in the surgery departments of the 
Universities of Vienna and Salzburg; 1982 habilitation. 1992 
established a department of plastic surgery at Lainz Hospital, which 
she headed until 1999; since 1999 Chairperson of the Department of 
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University of Innsbruck. She 
and R.  Margreiter carried out the first successful transplant of 
hands in 2000.
