alt. 674 m, in the pre-alps of Lower Austria, north-east of 
Scheibbs, cadastral district in the municipality of Texingtal. - Maria 
Schnee pilgrimage church, new construction in 1950; Palace (first 
documented mention in 1187), four-sided construction with an irregular 
ground plan (first half of the 16%%sup th/%  century); palace 
chapel (1454).
