b. Vienna, July 19, 1935, radio journalist, author and actor. Began as 
an announcer for the radio station Rot-Weiss-Rot, from 1958 worked 
exclusively for ORF television (Austrian broadcasting corporation), 
1972 editor in chief. 1986-1990 director of the Austrian broadcasting 
corporation  ORF.
