Pottschach, Lower Austria, village in the district of Neunkirchen, 
alt. 427 m, in the lower Schwarzatal valley, cadastral district 
in the municipality of Ternitz. - Culture centre, ground water 
treatment works of the City of Vienna; wire rope production and crane 
manufacturing. - Parish church (first documented mention of a church 
in 1342), built around 1500 and 1520-1526, figural gravestones 
(15%%sup th/%  century); Renaissance palace (1573), restoration 
in 1891.
