bi-seasonal tourist resort (177,054 overnight stays in 1992) in the 
Virgen Valley, at the southern foot of the Venediger Mountains; in the 
 Hohe Tauern National Park. - Music pavilion, power station 
(400 kW). - Late Gothic parish church with Gothic choir frescoes 
(around 1430), Baroque chapels. Nature trail Umballfaelle waterfalls.
