Austro-Prussian Wars: between 1740 and 1866 Prussia waged five wars 
against Austria. The first three wars (First Silesian War, 1740-1742, 
Second Silesian War, 1744/1745, together also referred to as the War 
of the  Austrian Succession ,1740-1748, and the  Seven Years´ 
War 1756-1763) were fought over the province of Silesia, during the 
war of the  Bavarian Succession of 1778/1779 Austria tried to win 
Bavaria. In the  Austro-Prussian War of 1866 Austria was forced to 
consent to the dissolution of the German Confederation.
